Dom. St Damien Côtes du Rhône Vieilles Vignes 2012

With a deep dark red-black color and a vibrant red hue, this wine is full bodied and has rich layers of dark fruit (black cherry, raspberry, plum), peppery spice, liquorice, and herbal undertones like garrigue.  It has light tannins, remarkable freshness, and a long finish with an explosion of black pepper.

Medium-bodied with good acidity and balance, this wine pairs beautifully with hearty dishes like cassoulet, beef and lamb. Its complexity also makes it enjoyable on its own.
