Aligoté is Burgundy’s “other” white grape. More rarely encountered than Chardonnay; it is a delightfully light and citrusy wine. With a lean minerality and palate-cleansing acidity, Aligoté has flavours of apple, unripe peach, white flowers and fresh herbs.
A beautiful wine which pairs wonderfully with seafood, salads, and gooey cow’s milk cheeses.
