In terms of terroir, this wine is a marriage of extremes that is grown in shale and limestone - shadow and light.  Combining two grape varieties with strong characters - 50% Carignan and 50% Syrah - its maturing process is naturally reductive with lengthy aging in a concrete tank to retain its telluric nature.
