The 2011 Costieres de Nimes Nostre Pais is made from an intriguing combination of 30% Grenache, 20% Carignan, 15% Mourvedre, 15% Cinsault and a handful of other varietals, it offers up an opaque ruby/purple color as well as a sweet perfume of spring flowers, blue and black fruits, exotic Asian spices, earth and incense. This pure, fruit-driven, beautifully textured, complex effort is all the better for having some age.
